Introducing Nutrielle

Food means so many things to all of us: the perfect taste buds pleaser, a way of getting all the nutrients our body needs from local, home-grown ingredients, food is what helps us lose or gain weight and is keeping us healthy.

What makes us a great community? Our love of food is most definitely one of the main ingredients. Sharing this love, is what first brought us together and has worked as a glue ever since, much like the cheese of a grilled cheese sandwich :D

Spicy Bruschetta/ Crostini Base/ Croutons

You must all know by now I very much like to come up with easy-peasy recipes. This is definitely one of them and its also my contribution to the Original Recipes Round-up I’m hosting on Culinarty. Yellow Pod Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • • 420 g/ 15 oz yellow pod beans
  • • 2 cups organic vegetable juice (a mix of tomato, beet, cabbage, carrot , celery root, onion juice and red bell pepper pulp)
  • • ½ tsp hot smoked paprika
  • • 1 handful curled parsley leaves – finely chopped
  • • 1 onion
  • • 1 ½ Tbsp finely chopped dry vegetables (a mix of carrots, parsley leaves and roots, parsnips, red and white onions, tomatoes and celery root)
  • • Salt – to taste
  • • ½ green kohlrabi
  • • 2 small carrots – sliced
